EEE Installation - Domain User accounts

EEE Installation – Domain Accounts
When installing EEE in a domain environment using domain accounts, and the account being used to perform the installation does not have Domain Administration rights, then the user accounts and settings need to be manually created before performing the EEE Installation.
Domain Groups
The following Domain Groups need to be created exactly as shown below:-
- EEE Users
- EEE Admins
- POS Users
Domain Users
The following Domain Users need to be created as shown below. When assigning passwords, it is recommended that the password is difficult to guess:-
- EEEServices- Password never expires- User cannot change password- Logon as a service right- Inspect programs right- Interactive logon right- Domain Users Group member- EEE Users group member- IIS_WPG Group member (this is a local group on the server where the EEE web application is installed.)
- EEEServicesSA- Password never expires- User cannot change password- Interactive logon right- Domain Users group member- EEE Users group member- EEE Admins group member- IIS_WPG Group member (this is a local group on the server where the EEE web application is installed.)
- SQLServer- Password never expires- User cannot change password- Logon as a service right- Domain Users group member
This account only required if SQL Server hasn't already been installed.
