EEE Data Exporter
While the EEE Data Exporter graphical interface is useful for ad-hoc purposes, it is normally necessary to configure a regular, scheduled transfer of data from Enabler Enterprise to Enabler POS installations. This is a two-step process:
Identify the tables (record types) that need to be sent from Enabler Enterprise Edition to Enabler. Make an ASCII file listing these tables. The standard installation of EEE Data Exporter creates FILELIST.TXT in the installation directory. This should be copied sideways and edited if necessary to your requirements.
Schedule a regular execution of the Data Export application for all stores. This should be scheduled using the built in Windows Scheduled Tasks. When scheduling the Exporter for unattended execution, use the command line options documented below:
Export.exe -i|-f -w<WorldRegionCode> -c<CountryCode> -r<RegionCode>
-s<SubregionCode> -b<BranchCode> -xN|U|A -t<Table>|<@TableList>
-m<CompanyCode> -d
Command Line Options:
-iPerform incremental export of nominated table(s)
-fPerform full export of nominated table(s)
-xNExport new data only (only valid with -i)
-XUExport only unacknowledged data (only valid with -i)
-XAExport both new and unacknowledged records (only valid with -i)
-w Export for all branches in nominated world region
-cExport for all branches in nominated country
-rExport for all branches in nominated region
-sExport for all branches in nominated sub-region
-bExport for a single branch
-t<Table>Export only the nominated table. To export multiple tables: -tProduct|Customer|Size Use "|" as table name separator
-t@FileListExport all tables in the TXT file FileList
-m<n>Export data for specified company, or EEE instance (Company 1 is
default). <n> is company number (1, 2, 3 etc).
-dDisplay progress.
If -w, -c, -r, -s, -b not specified then export will run for all branches.
By running the command export -? The syntax of the export command is shown as per the box below.
