Reporting Services Client Print Control cannot load

Occasionally Microsoft releases updates which affect the SQL Reporting Services Client Print Control. Often the Internet Explorer ActiveX Killbits update breaks this functionality. This results in the following message being displayed to the user:


Unable to load client print control.


If this occurs, often the resolution is to install the latest updates for SQL Server. Currently, SQL Server 2005 Cumulative Update 8 can be installed to resolve this issue. Service Pack 3 is required prior to installing.
