Summary data job fails in EEE
Occasionally you may receive an alert email indicating that the EEE Summary data job has failed. The alert email will look something like this:-
JOB RUN: 'EEE_SummaryData' was run on 17/08/2009 at 4:00:00 AM DURATION: 0 hours, 0 minutes, 8 seconds STATUS: Failed MESSAGES: The job failed. The Job was invoked by Schedule 8 (Schedule1). The last step to run was step 1 (Step1).
You can check the job in SQL Management Studio and if you see a message like:-
Some rows are not covered by the FinancialWeek table. The FinancialWeek table needs to be set up.
This can occur when sales are processed through Enabler when the PC is set on an incorrect date, such as some time in the future. It can also happen at the start of a new year when a new retail calendar hasn't been setup in EEE.
In these cases the resolution is to create a new Retail Calendar covering the dates concerned via Financial/Calendar->Retail Calendar in EEE.
You may need to run some sales reports in EEE to determine the dates the sales have occurred that are outside existing retail calendar dates. This will be the case when the date on the PC is incorrect.
If the Summary job has failed for any other reason, you should contact Magenta Retail for assistance.
