New page

When EEE users are experiencing a recurring logout or the users' sessions are getting reset when accessing EEE screens or reports, this is may be because the Antivirus application installed in the environment is performing real time / on access scanning on the IIS folders on the EEE web application server. This can trigger the in-process session state manager to reset active connections.

Based on internal testing, we recommend if antivirus scanning is enabled on the EEE web application server, the following folders be excluded from real time scanning.

*
\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv

*
\WINDOWS\assembly\GAC_32

*
\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\
(this should cover all versions of framework)
*
\inetpub\
