=== '''Exporting Layby/Customer Order data from EEE''' ===

If an Enabler store server needs rebuilding, and there is no current backup available, then you may wish to retrieve all laybys and customer orders from EEE. The procedure below will allow you to extract the laybys and customer orders from EEE and then import them into Enabler

Open EEE -> Utilities -> Data Interchange -> Extract BOZ Files

# Enter the branch code
# Enter the path to where EEE should export the files
# This path should be a Network Path EG: \\<servername>\Temp\BOZExport

EEE will generate a set of .boz files with the following format.

Layby#_L.boz or CustOrder#_O.boz

Copy the extracted files to the Store Server EG: C:\Temp\BOZImport

=== Clean the Store Server before import ===

NOTE: All Enabler applications should be closed prior to attempting the following
Prior to importing these files it is best to purge the layby/customer order transaction tables. The Enabler\Lantran tables to be purged are:

''Layby Transaction tables''

'''Laybyh.dbf'''

'''Laybyd.dbf'''

'''Laybyt.dbf'''

'''Laybyi.dbf'''

''Customer Order transaction tables''

'''Orderh.dbf'''

'''Orderd.dbf'''

'''Ordert.dbf'''

To purge the tables, replace them with empty copies from the UPGBASE\LANTRAN folder and then re-index each table

EG: C:\Enabler> INFOCTRL INDEXLANTRAN LAYBYH

Once the files are re-indexed, open Back Office

=== Importing the .boz files into Enabler ===

In the BackOffice Administration menu select “Import Layby/Order BOZ files”. This menu option is only available on a store server or head office server. You need admin privileges to use this option.

A warning message appears to ensure the user is aware the layby/order tables will be reconstructed. The message says: “This operation will reconstruct the Layby/Order transaction tables with data from EEE. Are you sure you want to proceed?” Answer Yes to proceed.

The user is then prompted asked for a path where the .boz files exported from EEE are located.

Enter the path on the store server that they have been copied to. EG: C:\Temp\BOZImport

It is not advisable for Nibbler to be running at this point in time.

Click OK to begin the import

NOTE: If any of the layby/customer order numbers are found in the tables a termination message appears and the process is aborted. The user has to purge data from the table and restart the process.

The lantran customer order/layby tables will be appended with the transaction data which has been exported from EEE.

Upon completion of the process the customer order/layby transaction tables should have been reconstructed.
