When installing antivirus software on ANY machine running Enabler (This includes Enabler HO, Store servers and tills), you must ensure that the anti-virus software is configured to exclude the enabler folder.

Failure to have this exclusion in place, can lead to unpredictable results such as Database Errors, Abnormal terminations etc. This occurs because when a database is accessed, the anti-virus software can lock the file for scanning preventing Enabler from correctly accessing the file.
