Distributed Transaction Coordinator - Logfile Full

Background

You may find the following issues:

• Distributed Transaction Coordinator stopped in Services on the EEE Server
• The following error in the Event Log: "The MS DTC log file is full and cannot accept new log records."

If you attempt to restart, an error with the error code -1073737712 appears.

This will affect replication between EEE and EEPOS.

Resolution

• Open Command Prompt as an Administrator
• Type msdtc -resetlog and press Enter.
• Type net start msdtc and press Enter.
• Review the POS Service status in EEPOS, ensure that the "POS Service light" has changed to green.
• Review transactions in EEE to ensure they have replicated up from EEPOS.
